Quote Of The Day Challenge: Day 3

Hello, all ye readers! πŸ˜› Today is the last day of the Quote Of The Day Challenge. Today’s quote is from a book I’m reading for school:

“Mr. Bennet, how can you abuse your own children in such a way? You take delight in vexing me. You have no compassion for my poor nerves.”

“You mistake me, my dear. I have a high respect for your nerves. They are my old friends. I have heard you mention them with consideration these last twenty years at least.”

Mr. and Mrs. Bennet –Β Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I have just started reading Pride and Prejudice for my Literature class, and I’m enjoying Mrs. Bennet’s personality. πŸ˜‰

Today, I nominate:

Jaclynn

Maddi

Sunny

In other news, more of The Smallones should be up very soon! πŸ˜€ I’m going to take the pictures today. πŸ˜‰

Have a great day, everyone!

  1. LOL! Yay for Pride and Prejudice! I started the book, but I didn’t finish it. Sigh. I think I need to grow up some more before older books captivate me more!;)

I totally understand! Some books seem SO boring now, but I’ll probably love them when I get older. XD

  3. Pride and Prejudice is WONDERFUL!! I love Lizzy so much. I also love Persuasion, Mansfield Park and all the other Jane Austen books, except Emma which I have not read but mean to as soon as I get through my present book, Tess of the Durbervilles, (which is very sad).
